I am really struggling with the technical challenges of beginning a Web Site and Blog. Maybe it's age or maybe it's just that I have a creative brain that prefers to work with paint, brushes, and canvas instead of computers.
So here I am trying to post paintings to an art marketing web site and trying to build a web page that is new and inviting. These are things that seem perfectly normal for a 21st century artist to do. The desire to share my work with others is the motivation for such activity. Lets face it. If no one sees the created product, then the joy of creating while wonderful during the process is bypassed once the work is done. We need people to see and enjoy our creations. Right? And there are plenty of opportunities on the internet to get your work out there. And they are all easy as pie! Or so they tell me!
Yesterday after several hours of computer work my husband came into the studio. He took one look at me and said, "Your Hair?!" Without even looking in the mirror or wondering what he meant I said, "Yes, I know. I am pulling it out by the roots. This computer stuff is a nightmare." We had a good laugh with each other because I did in fact look as though I had been pulling my hair out!
I am determined to continue on toward the goal. I will get this web page up and running. I will be able to share my work and a few words with my friends. It probably won't be perfect but that isn't the goal.
So until next time, be blessed and keep creating a beautiful life.
